NIAONiao is a vocal synthesizer like UTAU developed by dsound. It's primarily for Chinese but voice libraries have been created for Japanese and English as well. The recording and "oto" process is a bit different from our well loved program, and is a bit more complicated.
Much like how UTAU has Uta Utane as their mascot, NIAONiao has Yu Niaoniao.
