Basically it's being made from some rock singer/guitarist called hide who died in the 90s to sing some of his unfinished songs.

There's actually been two deceased singers turned vocaloids. Both are private, however.

I think VoctroLabs (Clara, Bruno, and Maika's company) is working on a private engine for singers that have passed so they can make more albums, so it could very well be possible that Eddie Mercury, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, etc could have new albums coming out once that engine is finished.

I believe they have or get consent from the singer's families before doing the projects.

Once again, though, these are private vocaloids, so only the record companies would be able to make or finish albums they recorded before death with them--which is what they are doing with hide
